We exist to provide access to learning for disconnected entrepreneurs. We do this by conducting extensive research into the education needs of entrepreneurs and giving free access to learning bites on the Heavy Chef e-learning platform.

Skills Development & ESD
The Heavy Chef Foundation is a Level 1 BBBEE organisation, and its programme contributes to skills development and enterprise & supplier development contributions of our partners.
Section 18a PBO
The Heavy Chef Foundation is a registered Not For Profit Company (NPC), and registered as a Section 18a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO), providing our partners and donors with tax exemption for their support.
Public Private Partner
The Heavy Chef Foundation collaborates with government and private sector stakeholders in the Education & Development sector in South Africa.
